Teaching Kids About Money Management

Here is a great website I stumbled upon that can help us teach our children (or ourselves) about money management. This would be a great supplement to the LDS booklet, "One for the Money."

This is one example of the helpful doo dads they have on this site.
Also, did you know that this website exists to help us out with other information for childred?

These are just a few of resources (free) available!

Organization Tip

Spoons & forks not staying in place when you open and close the drawer. Try this little trick. Insert those little plastic medicine cups to take up the extra space. It will help keep the silver (or whatever eating utensils you have-mom's leftovers, church cast-off's, garage sale specials) in place!

Chicken Taco Soup

48 oz can white beans

4 cups cooked shredded chicken (6 breasts)

2 medium onions

4 garlic cloves

1 T olive oil

2-4 cans copped green chilies

¼ t cayenne pepper

6 cups chicken broth (5 cans)

2 t ground cumin

1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese

Cook chicken with one cup of water and chopped onion in crock pot 6 to 7 hours prior (so it will shred). Combine all other ingredients and simmer 1 hour to warm.

Serve with lime chips, jack cheese, lime wedges, avocado, and cilantro.
